Local MP Maria Miller visited Melrose Community Association following the news that the association has received over £15,000 from the Government’s Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund.
Maria said, “It was great to visit Melrose Community Association to hear from staff about how they are putting their £15,000 Cost of Living grant to good use, providing a range of services including their Community Café and Toddler Group.
“Basingstoke is a fantastic place to live, due in large part to the commitment and enthusiasm of local community organisations such as Melrose Community Association. Thank you to the team at the association for taking the time to meet with me to update me on the association’s services.”
