Tesco Community Grants scheme is now open for applications from local charities in Basingstoke and will relaunch in stores this week. Every three months community groups and charities across the UK will be able to apply for a grant of up to £1,500 from the total pot of £2m for each period.
Any charity or community group can apply and Groundwork, an expert community charity who manage the scheme, will be able to advise on eligibility through the application process. The final projects that receive grants have traditionally been chosen through customer voting in-store.
Maria said , “This is a great opportunity for local Basingstoke community groups and charities to secure some additional funding and help support our local community. I urge all eligible organisations to apply and Basingstoke residents can also nominate a charity/project close to their heart.”
